At Home Dinner
On the fourth Sunday of every other month, at 5:45 p.m., the At Home Ministry invites homeless people to Lange Hall for a meal. This dinner has developed into a tradition that has continued since the founding of this ministry. Rather than host the dinner at a park, we invite the people into our church, the body of Christ, as our guests, so that we can speak with and encourage each person individually. All homeless people, regardless of whether or not they are believers, are welcome to attend the dinner. Dinner attendees are also encouraged to attend the 3:30 worship service. The TBC At Home Ministry is a “spiritual lifeline” for our homeless brothers and sisters.

TBC Behind-the-Scenes Gospel
TBC is well-known for its gospel music, but those who attend the At Home Ministry dinner have the opportunity to enjoy an unusual type of gospel. At first, everyone sang gospel songs from the regular worship services together, but because many of the dinner guests were first-timers or seniors, the songs were unfamiliar and sometimes difficult to sing. Ministry members decided to rewrite the lyrics of popular tunes and turn them into praise songs to help guests feel more comfortable and truly enjoy worship. The team is now planning to do a series of praise songs based on music from robot anime.
